Wow, it's been so long since we've written a blog post for our website, and I'm sure everyone is just itching to know what we've been up to here since we were able to re-open in February.
Well, we've been getting ready for the first summer that we've been able to stay open since becoming Niagara Escapement.
One of the best things we've been able to do is continue to host our "Open Gaming Wednesdays" - every Wednesday between 5 & 8 we host games with NO SITTING FEE! (usually $5 per player) This is a fantastic opportunity
to learn games you've been curious about and meet new people with similar interests or play styles. It's even harder to leave now that we've set up a brand new professional café - we're serving lots of pre packaged snacks and fancy coffee & tea drinks.
The public notice for our liquor license application is only in our window for 3 more weeks and then we're set to host events a bit later and serve alcohol in our gaming spaces!
Dungeons and Dragons has been a huge success
with most weekends selling out, and we've built up a huge arsenal of tactile things to use (including a table top monitor system for maps!!!)
And finally, our second room - "The end of the -------- world" is live and running after just over a year of work being poured into it. This challenging room really brings forward the "WOW" factor, even compared to our realistic Witch's cottage game "Easy Bake Coven"
If you're looking for some face to face, tactile fun in Niagara Falls this summer, we've got you covered. Come play in our worlds....
